2022 Entries Open – Lake Macquarie NSW & Enoggera QLD

27th September 2021

With the last adventure race of 2021 almost done and dusted (with the Blue Mountains NSW event happening in late November 2021), why not sort out your 2022 adventure racing schedule now!

Entries are now open for Race #1 at Lake Macquarie, NSW sponsored by Lake Macquarie City Council, on Saturday 12th & Sunday 13th February, 2022.

Entries are also open (early!) for Race #2 at Enoggera, Brisbane QLD on Saturday 19th March, 2022.

Short, fast and fun, and suitable for anyone and everyone with a real sense of adventure, the Max Adventure Race Series events are designed to offer the perfect introduction to the exhilarating sport of adventure racing.

Designed for teams of two, the overall objective of the series is for you and your teammate to have fun, navigate and complete the designated course (both teammates together completing each discipline, not in relay format) in the minimum amount of time possible, by visiting each of the checkpoints in turn by navigating the course by foot, mountain bike and kayak.

At each event, there is a Classic distance and a Novice distance course available, depending on your ability and experience. These non-stop events will take between two to six hours to complete so there is never any time to get bored or tired as you will be constantly challenged throughout the race; physically and mentally!

If you are new to the sport of adventure racing and are looking for an exciting challenge that lives up to your love of outdoors and action packed adventure, then the Max Adventure Race Series events are a great way to experience what this exhilarating, growing sport is all about.

If you are an experienced adventure racer or have completed a few races before, then the Max Adventure Race Series events is the perfect opportunity to either step up in course distance or hone your efficiency and chase that PB or podium position.
