Short, fast and fun was the theme for the first of 2016’s Paddy Pallin Adventure Series of trail running, coasteering, mountain biking and kayaking held over the Valentines Day weekend at Lake Macquarie’s Cams Wharf. With awesome weather and calm conditions the classic competitors took advantage of bonus check points and the mystery challenge, Shark Hole. For the first time too, Paddy Pallin had a novice category designed for beginners, or those teams just wanting a shorter race. With over $3500 in prizes up for grabs each day the competition was fierce.  Click here for an eye witness report of the event.
