***Important Note for all Classic Course teams***

The teams on the Classic course will be completing a coasteering league alongside the mighty Pacific Ocean. Coasteering involves traversing the rock platforms, pools and inlets as the waves crash in. Teams should come prepared to get wet on this leg and will be required to wear a Personal Flotation Device (provided) and their bike helmets on this leg for safety reasons. Don’t worry, the extra equipment will be worth it for the extra level of excitement the coasteering leg will add to the event.

At 9:15AM there will be a Navigation & Tips Training session which is optional but highly recommended for Novice Course participants.

The session will run for about 30 minutes and will be held at the Event Centre area.

If this is your first adventure race or you had navigational difficulties during your last event make sure you get along for a stack of handy hints and tips.

We still need a few more volunteers for this event. If your friends or partner are coming along to support you, why not ask them to volunteer? They get a free shirt, cap, goodie bag, FREE Maximum Adventure Race Entry and lots of thanks and appreciation. Their day could consist of helping with team registration, manning checkpoints on the course, and carrying out gear checks.

If you are interested, please complete an online volunteer registration form HERE.
