Saturday 12th & Sunday 13th February, 2022
Lake Macquarie, NSW
That’s a wrap on the first New South Wales event in the 2022 Max Adventure Race Series, held on the shores of Lake Macquarie, NSW.
A strong field of Classic and Novice teams trail ran, mountain biked and kayaked on both Saturday and Sunday. Flying along the mountain bike trails, enjoying the views over the mighty Pacific Ocean on the run legs and paddling on the calm waters of Lake Macquarie.
Congratulations to all teams that successfully completed the course, both Classic and Novice teams. There were plenty of incredibly fast times on display on both days but the real highlights were the first timers conquering the course.
A big thank you to event sponsors Lake Macquarie City Council and Thule. Also thanks go out to the National Parks and Wildlife Service, Murrays Beach, 1st Belmont Scout Group, Catherine Hill Bay Surf Life Saving CLub and Lake Macquarie Marine Rescue for their support of the event. A special shout out also to our hard working volunteers who lent a hand and helped make this event happen either out on course as a marshal or at the event centre and to CREST who provided the radio coverage across the course.
Full results and race pictures are now available on the buttons below. Remember thanks to Lake Macquarie City Council all event photos are free of charge to participants so download yours today!
